Virginie MARTIN

Virginie Martin is a professor of political science and sociology at Kedge since 2000. Her research focuses on political life, particularly in France, on questions of democracy, political representation, citizenship, extremism. Doctor of political science, she is authorized to supervise research in management science. Her work in this context focuses on gender issues, gender equality and feminism. She is a regular contributor to major national and international media. She directs the Media Lab, and is in charge of the specialized program (MSC) media, lobbying and communication. She is the author of two essays for Dawn Editions: “This world that escapes us”, “Talent wasted; the economic cost of discrimination”, 2015. .
